Prometheia is a pop/rock infused concept album that uses the myth of Prometheus as a metaphor for grief and recovery.
Influenced by character driven artists such as Kate Bush, Bjork and David Bowie this album blends genres uniquely, shifting between industrial rock, pop and synthetic textures. Recorded over three years at Pig Cat studios in Portland, ME, this collaboration with producers Scott Webber and Ian Marquis marks Michaud’s debut recording project under the name Ciel Roi.
